Blachford Lake Lodge and Conference Resort + My Favorites
Blachford Lake Lodge and Conference Resort is an all season, fly-in lodge. The lodge was started in 1981 and is proudly owner operated. The resort sits at the west end of remote 17 kilometer long Blachford Lake, just north of the east arm of Great Slave Lake. Accommodations for thirty-eight include five rustic but comfortable log cabins and a new main lodge with full bathroom facilities. A traditional eighteen-foot teepee, BBQ and picnic area, and open decks are available for various activities. Guests can enjoy the sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub. On hand is a range of equipment for sporting and recreational pleasure, including boats, motors, canoes, kayaks, cross country skis, snowshoes and ice fishing gear. Blachford Lake Lodge is a short 20-minute flight from Yellowknife by charter floatplane in the summer and autumn and ski-equipped bush plane in the winter and spring.
